Welcome to the Power & Energy Society/ Electrical Power Affiliates Program club

Members of the club will have the opportunity to be involved in one of the greatest movements in this generation concerning generation, transmission, and distribution of power. Moreover, other components of power such as the the renewable energy and smart grid  and its implementation will be addressed.

Throughout the semester, the goals to be achieved in our meetings involve

  • Meet engineers from different concentrations in the workforce and learn about their respective jobs
  • Meet with professors working on different components of the Power and Energy field
  • Learn about and discuss current technology trends in the market
  • Stay up to date on the the advancements of the implementation of the smart grid
  • Working in teams to participate in Engineering schools competitions

We invite students (Graduate and Undegraduate) from any major to attend our meetings if they are interested in learning more about the field of power and energy.
